Following an electrifying season opener at Zwartkops Raceway, the SA Endurance National Championship now moves to the Five Hours of Aldo Scribante in Gqeberha on the 5th of April 2025. With intense rivalries forming and championship points at stake, this round promises to deliver another action-packed endurance spectacle.
Fresh off their victory in Zwartkops, Nick Adcock & Michael Jensen are on international racing duties causing them to miss this round, however, 17-year-old Ryan Naicker will be paired up with Capetonian Charl Visser for this round, making it a team of young guns to defend their lead. But with strong challengers like Xolile Letlaka and Stuart White in the Into Africa Lamborghini Huracan GT3 Evo, it won’t be an easy ride to the finish line.
Also in the mix are Steve Clark and Mike McLaughlin with their 7.0-liter monster the Backdraft Carbon 2.0 car, along with hometown favorites Aldo & Silvio Scribante who is joined with multiple South African sprint racing champion Michael Stephen in the Scuderia Scribante Lamborghini, along with another other top endurance racers Charl Arangies and Arnold Neveling, determined to shake up the leaderboard. With so much at stake, fans can expect non-stop action and a fierce battle for the championship.
Besides the endurance race, the event will feature exciting support races, including Sports & GT, and Motorcycle Racing Series South Africa (MRSSA). Fans can look forward to thrilling on-track duels as Moshin Mia, Roy Obery, and Sun Moodley battle in the Sports & GT Cup SA, while Andrew Horne and Antonie Marx aim to stay on top in the 1-Hour Dash category.
