Introducing 19-year-old singer, songwriter, and producer Max More, who steps into the spotlight with his debut single “Stuck on You”, available now on all digital platforms.
A striking blend of indie pop and emotive storytelling, “Stuck on You” captures the intensity of first heartbreak—when the version of someone you’ve built in your head feels impossible to let go of. Written from personal experience, the track explores the push and pull of knowing you should move on, but still hoping for something that no longer exists.
The single was co-produced by renowned South African singer-songwriter and producer Lee Cole, known for his rich musicality and emotionally resonant sound. Together, Max and Lee have crafted a debut that is as polished as it is heartfelt.
“Working with Lee was incredible,” Max says. “He understood exactly what I was trying to say and brought the sound to life in a way that made it feel honest, vibrant, and truly me.”
While the lyrics dive into emotional vulnerability, the sonic palette is unexpectedly uplifting—capturing that bittersweet feeling of freedom after heartbreak. For Max, the song feels like “riding a trolley downhill with your hands in the air—carefree, despite not knowing how or when you’ll stop.”
Raised in a musically inclined family, Max was surrounded by melodies from a young age. He spent his school years immersed in singing, acting, and stage performance—and after graduating last year, finally committed to sharing his voice with the world. “Stuck on You” marks the beginning of that journey.
“I want my music to connect with people who feel the same things I do,” Max explains. “If someone hears this song and feels even a little more seen, that’s everything to me.”
“Stuck on You” is available to stream and download on all major platforms.
