Born Shiko Matlebjane. Ch’cco spent his childhood in-between Soweto and Mamelodi ( Tshwane), this upbringing gave birth to Ch’cco’s bilingual rhyme schemes that allow his palate to produce metaphors that go beyond popular street culture.
His new single, Pele- Pele by Ch’cco featuring Focalisitic and Mellow and Sleazy, follows a narrative that gives praise to the beautiful women of Mzansi. The song’s story line also highlights how beautiful girls utilize their charm for monetary gains because men always assume they deserve the finest things in life.

Ch’cco rose to prominence after the release of the viral single, Nkao Tempela. The song gave the star enough momentum to join forces with the likes of Pabi Cooper on her platinum selling single, Banyana Ke Bafana. Ch’cco was also featured on Kelvin Momo’s Ivy League album and will make a guest appearance on Focalistic’s upcoming album, Ghetto Gospel
