The countdown to the SOWETO THEATRE IN PARTNERSHIP WITH NOMSA MANAKA DANCE BEAT (Dancing Out of Cancer Festival) has officially begun! The show will be held at the Johannesburg Soweto Theatre and this year we are offering a two-day fete from the 8th (Fun run and walk) & 9th of March 2025 (Music and Dance festival).
We are thrilled to announce its dynamic lineup of performers, including South African music legend Sipho “Hotstix” Mabuse, Performance Queens Judith Sephuma and Unathi Nkayi, DJs Kaleido, Bilal, and Jus Themba. The event will be hosted by two MC’s Kenny Makhenzo Nkosi and Ntsiki Mazwai, with and a special poetry performance by Mak Manaka and a dance showcase by the Nomsa Manaka Dance Studio.
The festival aims to raise awareness about cancer through edutainment, bridging the gap between those in need of information and those who can provide it. Onsite information hubs will be available, featuring organizations such as DKMS and the Department of Health.

This event empowers individuals to learn, connect, and act, while celebrating the strength and resilience of those impacted and affected by cancer.
