The Kyalami 9-hour race took place in Kyalami, Midrand and saw Eastern Cape racing legend Tschops Sipuka and his all black team, made up of Xolile Letlaka and Philip Kekana claim their spot in this highly contested white sport.
With their Lamborghini Huracan Eco GT3, Tschops and his team made a name for themselves in the white-dominated racing world. The team performed admirably and made everyone who supported them proud, inspiring hope in all young black kids to believe in the power of their dreams.
This is a moment of celebration not just for Tschops and his partners, but also for South Africa as a whole. This demonstrates that everyone can achieve anything they set their minds to.
The Intercontinental GT Challenge is a sports car racing series that was developed by the SRO Group and it took place in South Africa! The series consists of international endurance races, where the 2022 challenge is the sixth and final season.
