Osama’s release not only marks the beginning of summer. But the single also marks Bantwini’s upcoming studio album, Ghetto King’s availability for pre-adds. Already shared from the album is a snippet of his Da Capo remixed single, Amanga featuring Nana Atta.

A teaser on Ghetto King shares that:

In the three years since the release of his collaborative single, OUAGADOUGOU with Djeff, the musician has found his unique voice as a culmination of the two with Ghetto King.

An eleven-track listen consisting of singles which straddle and fuse house signposts including afro, electro and deep house. Zakes Bantwini takes listeners on a journey which is half prayer and half aspiration but grounded in speaking to the Black experience.”
