Jaguar TCS Racing will return to action on Saturday 10 January as the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship heads to Mexico City for Round 2 of the 2025/26 season. The race – one of the most popular on the calendar – will take place at the iconic 2.63km Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez circuit, renowned for its vibrant atmosphere.
Driving the Jaguar I-TYPE 7, António Félix da Costa and Mitch Evans both showed great pace during the São Paulo season opener but were denied points by on-track incidents. The team arrives in Mexico determined to convert performance into points.
Mitch Evans, Jaguar TCS Racing driver #9, said: “São Paulo was a challenging opener, but it was great to be back racing and to feel the competitiveness of the Jaguar I‑TYPE 7. Now all eyes are on Mexico City – it’s one of everyone’s favourite locations on the calendar. The atmosphere there is second to none, with incredible fans and a circuit that always delivers exciting racing. I can’t wait to get back out and push for a strong result.”

António Félix da Costa, Jaguar TCS Racing driver #13, said: “São Paulo was a tough way to start my journey with Jaguar TCS Racing, especially as we had the pace to fight for the podium. Circumstances went against us, but the positives are clear – we were strong in qualifying and had great pace in the race. That gives me confidence heading into Mexico. I’m excited to get back in the car, push hard, and hopefully turn that performance into some points for the team this week.”
Ian James, Jaguar TCS Racing Team Principal, said: “Round one reminded us of two things: the strong potential of our car and the unpredictability that defines Formula E. That combination is what makes this championship so compelling. As a team, we’ve reset quickly and are focused on Mexico City, where we’ll look to convert our pace into points. It’s a venue that always showcases the very best of Formula E, and we’re ready to take on the challenge.”

Jaguar TCS Racing is now in its milestone tenth season in Formula E. Hardware and software technology proven on-track by Jaguar TCS Racing will transfer to the next generation of Jaguar all-electric road cars – previewed by the Jaguar Type 00.
Round 2 of the 2025/26 ABB FIA Formula E World Championship begins at 14.05 CST (GMT –6 hours) on Saturday, 10 January.
